McCarthy Hall

McCarthy Hall (MH), formerly known as the Letters and Sciences Building, is more than your ordinary building. Completed September 1, 1963, it was Cal State Fullerton’s first permanent building and set the stage for the entire future and expansion of the university.

Alma Mater

Cal State Fullerton has a school song. Surprised? It’s a little-known fact.

Titan Student Union

Anyone who has ever used the Titan Student Union to pass the time between classes, get a bite to eat, hang out with friends, study or anything at all, owes the students of 1966 a big hug.

Dorms

Today, residents of the on-campus dorms enjoy many liberties and freedoms that were not available to the students who inhabited Cal State Fullerton’s first dorms, over 40 years ago.

The Arboretum

In the midst of dying orange groves on the grounds of Cal State Fullerton, thoughts of revitalizing nature with an organic garden were beginning to take shape. Yet, the long journey to the now 26-acre Arboretum wasn’t so easy, Eugene Jones, professor of botany said.
